This is for you skeptics out there who didn't, or couldn't believe my other post. Yes, it is true that the Hillman Hunter's Tail-Lamps were used on the Aston Martin Vantage.
The two cars were also essentially designed by the same person....William Towns; first the Arrow series while he was at Rootes, then the Aston after he opened his own design studio.
That is truly fascinating Phil!.. I always wanted to know who were the people involved in designing the Arrow series, and get their reaction to the everlasting story of this car as Paykan in Iran. ReplyDeleteArrow saloon was typically attributed to Rex Fleming, not sure Towns had a lot of input into it..
