Singer Pickup



Nice try mate! But you didn't have to go through all the trouble, they are still making the Paykan Pick-Up in Iran! ;)

Post Update: It turned out that this car was originally a Singer Gazelle! With the Hunter MKIII front-end fitted at some point in it's turbulence life.

    Is there any chance this could be one of the South African-built pickups? I believe they were quite different to the Paykan ones.

    I'm afraid not Russell, I found this picture from a retro rides forum, this was a mod to a regular Hunter done in the UK. I haven't had much like finding many pictures of the Dodge Husky (South African Built Hillman Hunter Pick-Up).
