Major Haul
My Old Scanned Pics's Dad's Humber Sceptre hooked up to the family Sprite Major caravan, unknown location, probably 1970.
People these days think they need a monstrous amounts of torque for towing, some even go as far as looking into machines like the E39 M5! Its getting ridiculous really, isn't it?! Let the above pictures be a lesson to them! ;)

Strawberry
1967 Hillman Hunter, photo was taken by Kev's Classic Cars at Bournemouth on May 8th of this year. I don't think the color and the vinyl roof are original, but just seeing another 67 model year in this condition is a treat! ;)

Mauritius Hunter
Shailen from the beautiful island of Mauritius contacted me a while ago to tell me about his Hunters. The above wagon which originally belonged to grandpa, and a Hunter GLS!
Who would have thought there be Hunters over there! Unfortunately parts are scares over there, and Shailen had to use a different engine on his cars.
Thanks for the photos, and good luck with your Hunters!

Roughing It
This was PaulHad66's Singer Vogue Estate which did an incredible 450,000 miles before it died! Being a Singer it must have been a 69 model (H reg. is Aug 1st 1969 to July 31t 1970) since Rootes dropped the Singer name at 1970 and re-badged some the leftover stock as Sunbeams in that year for the UK market.
Also notice the more "modern" Vogue badge on the door, which was also an upgrade on the later Singer cars.

He Was Victorious
In 450 BC, the Athenian general Cimon, died at sea defending the city of Citium in a major battle with the Persians. On his deathbed, he urged his officers to conceal his death from both their allies and the Persians. The quote "Και Νεκρός Ενίκα" ("Even in death he was victorious") refers to Cimon.

Forrest Hunter
This slide is taken from the collection of leylandbus's father. Seen here is one his Dad's longtime friends John Forrest, he is pictured with a Berkshire registered Hillman Hunter, XRX 806H which looks to be a rental car given the number '52' affixed to the rear view mirror. Either that or it was a company car belonging to the Gas Board - Mr Forrest was a long time employee.
Special thanks goes to leylanbus for the scan!

White-clad
BBC commentator Peter Haigh sitting inside a Singer Vogue with two white-clad models nearby at the Earls Court Motor Show (19/10/1966).
No need to mention really, but photo is from the Coventry Transport Museum's archive.

Hurriedly
This is the rare Hillman GT, hurriedly put together by Rootes Group to capitalize on their unexpected 1968 London-Sydney Marathon win! Photos by: thermionic
I also had another post about this same exact car here.
Update: Notice that this car was simply called "Hillman GT", they didn't use Hunter.
